its definite now, div div 2 will have multiplayer <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggrin.gif" alt="" />

this is from the interview with lar :

Tell us something about Divinity II to whet our appetites!

It'll be big - VERY big. It has a very good 3D engine. It's multiplayer. And it contains a lot of cool features.

I just hope its not going to be ONLY multplayer. Or a single-player as 'preparation' to multiplayer.

I mean: the impasis should still be on the single-player and not to mutch on the multiplayer.

the best news I've heard so far:

I hope it'll be a kind of COOP. So you and your friends will follow together the story. No hack 'n' slash only gameplay ala Diablo.

Hmmm, well this is possibly sad news. Hope they don't concentrate so much on the multi-player that the sp suffers. Thats what happened to NWN. Oh well, have to hope for the best, cause I am really looking forward to another Divinity game <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggrin.gif" alt="" />

In that case, I hope Div2 will run on my laptop so that my boyfriend and I can both play it. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggrin.gif" alt="" />

I had a feeling this was coming though. Multiplayer sneaks its way into everything these days, even turn-based strategy games. Not that this is necessarily a bad thing, but it's merely an observation about the trend that video games are taking.

Big news about div2: I read in a magazine it should be out end 2004. About 1 year after Riftrunner.

Hope its true!!

Indeed, deamon-hamster, NWN's Single Player was just a module. Pitful module, if you ask me (and if you don't, hah! I already said it!).

Some say that Singlelayer is boring.

Which leads me to the idea to call NWN NOT an RPG game, but rather to erect a *new* gentre : The RPG Editor ...

(I must admit that this is far too offtopic. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggrin.gif" alt="" /> Excuse me, Lynn. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/winkwink.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggrin.gif" alt="" /> )

Well after playing Everquest for 3.5 years, I kinda picked up Divinity because it was single player.. *sigh*
