If you need water to put out the cage fire, there are alternatives. Shadowheart can cast create or destroy water if she has that prepared. If you don't feel like bringing along Shadowheart, you could look for a bottle of water (the item in question is simply called "Water"). I'm not sure where to find them specifically, but I have loads. Maybe you already have some.
