So I haven't done any fan art in years (my professional art revolves around wildlife, animals and birds), but there's only so much refreshing of BG3 forums one can do while waiting for Patch 5 news - so I thought I would do something creative with my time. smile

Take a peek into my sketchbook...

First one was Astarion (of course!) Started as a loose sketch while on a long phone call, decided I might as well keep going, for the sake of practice. It's not quite right but I'm calling it done:

Lae'zel is my second favourite companion in the game. She is very blunt, direct, she tells it like it is - but I feel like her staunch beliefs in her society's ways are about to get very shaken as the game's story goes on, and I look forward to seeing her grow as a character.

She is drawn in pencil and black ink pen - I thought she deserved a more direct approach in line work. smile

Wow these are amazing. How many long phone calls would that Lae'zel drawing take?

Both of these took about 2-3 hours each, but I wasn't in a hurry. smile

Russian one or maybe some other slavic country using the same.

OP, you totally nailed Lae'zel. I can hear her asking "What!?" - with her common annoyed by those low life forms intonation, when I look at the picture.

It's ok I understood it. smile It sounds like something sinister in English but it's in fact a perfectly harmless and even positive form of envy! Thank you. smile

Thank you all for your lovely comments! <3
I will most likely draw Shadowheart next...

Start of a Shadowheart sketch - just the basics for now. Shading, outlines etc to come later. smile

It's been a very quiet day for me, so I managed to finish Shadowheart sooner than I thought...
Somehow her expression changed a lot between the sketch and the finished inked version. I was trying to aim for "sad but hopeful Shadowheart". smile
