GoG version seems to be affected by this issue on my 11th gen mobile i7 on win 10. Game is generating a fault in galaxypeer64. Symptoms are the "plop" playing and then immediately crashing back to desktop.

I uninstalled and re-installed both gog and divinity, as well as mucking around with the firewall. I was not able to find a solution online until I found the error in the windows application log. It lead me to this article:


The workaround fixed the issue. It's a good game and I'd hate for people to return it because of an unpatched bug in the galaxy DLLs.
