Hi guys,
Just wanted to start off by saying I think you're doing an amazing job with the game, I love it so far.

However I have a problem.
I love sword and shield in every game I play, makes me feel like a true Knight.

However the fact that the shield just materialises in your hand when you draw your weapon bugs me, it doesn't look very clean and kinda ruins the immersion.

Also I would suggest that you make single handed weapon sheathed on the hip (With a scabbard for swords etc) and keep 2 handed weapons on the back. This will look much cleaner and more Realistic.

Fantastic job with the game so far, I'm very excited for it's future.
Many thanks
Benjamin

We already talked about it in the past, but frankly I think that more in general there should be a bit more care about the cosmetic side of the weapons you are wearing.
Weapons should have sheaths and scabbards, both on your back or on your hip according to the type, bows should come with a tied quiver, etc, etc.

Party control in Baldur's Gate 3 is a complete mess that begs to be addressed. SAY NO TO THE TOILET CHAIN

Definitely having your weapons shown on you would be pretty good overall.
And as an added detail, Pact of the Blade weapons would stand out if they lacked a sheath, instead appearing in the Warlock's hands. The same for any similar feature/effect.

Yeah that's perfect, I also like the idea of the weapon appearing in the hand for Warlock

I 100% agree. I would also like quivers, and for them to get rid of the unlimited ammo for bows.

I've been playing Pathfinder: Kingmaker and I must say that I really like the way they handle how weapons and shields appear on the sprites. The weapons are surprisingly detailed and they even have their own scabbards. I hesitate to sell some of the swords just cause their scabbards look really cool. Not only this, but the various weapons in the different weapon slots even appear at the same time on the sprite. You can carry one single shortsword, one longsword plus shield, one 2H sword, and one bow, and they all appear on the sprite, complete with scabbards, and your character would look badass af, like, this guy looks like someone you don't want to mess with.

And not just weapons and shields, but even potions would appear on the sprite too. Have three potions on your belt with two long swords and a set of leather armor and you can go ahead and call yourself a witcher.

Now i noticed you are also demanding weapons on hip ...
I would prefer that to be optional honestly ... i dunno how about you (probably dont, since the suggestion) but i kinda like that visual of crossed scimitars on back. :3

So, if meele weapon could have setting Back/Hip ... simmilar to how hiding helmet was implemented, i would be super happy. ^_^
