I noticed that the threatened status seems to be acting differently than before these 2 hotfixes and I'm not sure if it's intentional (but I don't think it is). I moved the githyanki warrior within melee range of an imp and then switched to dwarf rogue, and I was unable to do a sneak attack because no advantage. Before these two hot patches, I believe moving next to an enemy was enough to be able to do a ranged sneak attack, because they would be considered "threatened". Next round I performed a melee attack with the cleric that did 1 damage, and then the imp was considered threatened and was able to perform my ranged sneak attack.

Yep. Several other people have noted the same thing: Despite the rules, despite the previous ability to use Threatened to set up a sneak attack, it doesn't work any more. The only way to get a sneak attack is to have Advantage, without having Disadvantage.
