Hi guys,

Just a little suggestion I'm thinking about.
When you use the tadpole's power in dialogs you always have an active roll with a DC of 0.

It would be better not to roll if the sucess is guaranteed. Less intrusion in cinematics anse dialogs is always better, especially if those intrusion are useless.

Not sure it has already been said.

I'm pretty sure it's been said a number of time,s but yes, agreed again if necessary: We should only be rolling the die when there is both a possibility of success and and possibility of failure - if something is guaranteed to succeed or to fail, then there should be no roll.

Just to add: the tadpole rolls are literally impossible to fail. There IS no fail state for them. if you have a negative modifier and end up with a -1 as your final result, you STILL SUCCEED. We should not be rolling here.

Yep.

Party control in Baldur's Gate 3 is a complete mess that begs to be addressed. SAY NO TO THE TOILET CHAIN

Its part o f the code, that a check must be made next.
Then game realizes its versus Zero.
So the code must be rewritten that when someone click/uses the Tadpole options there must be another event in the code especially for tadpole actions. AS it is allways success,..... is it?
Maybe sometime in the story theres happening something which counteracts your use of tadpole
(not meaning the Ring from Omeluum)
and the code for this event is not written yet.
Or its not so important to put it into the EA Version because its just a cosmetic thing.

Larian is totally aware of their own code for this instance, be assured.

Perhaps they fixed it in the meantime, but you used to be able to fail them by rolling a 1.
