Larian Studios Forums Baldur's Gate III Baldur's Gate III - General Auntie Ethel's hair - anyone got different than +1 str?

So playing patch 6 and saw the remark that Auntie Ethel's hair actually gives a stat boost now.
Played around last night but I only got +1 STR, even though she promises power of any kind.

Just wanted to see if anyone else managed to get something different than +1 STR or was able to change the stat in any way (if I'm missing something).

Yup ... just got +1 Cha ... and it worked. ^_^
Now my sorcere have 20 Charisma on level 4 ... not bad. :3

You jut need to let her take Marina, if you pick anything else, she would just give you Str ...
But since your pick the stat AFTER conversation, i dare to presume its a bug.

Just noticed when i was cleaning my bags, i got also Strength one.

So you got two of them?
I didn't let her have Mayrina, as I used a skill to convince her to give both.

Didn't get a choice to pick a stat for it - just plain str appeared

yep you get only str if you dont let her keep Marina. I posted a bug report thinking I didnt get my +1 to wisdom only saw the +1 to str. But like RagnarokCzd I found it in my inventory a few minutes later. =)

if you get the hair and let her live, do her prisoners in the lobby remained cursed? That +1 to stats is really nice but I would feel so bad to leave them...

It seem that right now its working so you get Str hair if you let her live and can pick any other stat as a bonus if you also let her Marina.

Sounds like a bug tho.

If I choose a Charisma bonus, does Auntie Ethel's Hair stack with Volo's Eye?

I didnt even know Volo's Eye do anything. O_o

Volo's eye gives +1 cha but it comes at the cost of your ability to deal critical hits. However! If you pickpocket him you can use the eye without the penalty (this of course seems like a bug).

I received both a +1 Str bonus (gave to Lae'zel) as well as a +1 Cha (choice option) for my main character. The Cha bonus stacked with the +1 Cha from Volo's Eratz eye. Note: Volo's eye also carries a -1 to Int. So. Lae'zel has 18 Str plus the GWM feat and my Warlock has 20 Cha!
