Larian Studios Forums General Chat Is the Larian Launcher separate for Steam from GoG?

I have Divinity: Original Sin 1 and 2 on Steam and plan on buying Baldur's Gate 3 when the final version comes out. I'd like to have Baldur's Gate 3 on GoG rather than Steam.

I recently saw that the "Larian Launcher" runs on Steam when I launched Divinity: Original Sin 2 on Steam.

Does this mean that the Larian Launcher is platform-specific? If I buy Baldur's Gate 3 on GoG, will I have to install two copies of the Larian Launcher, or can the same launcher somehow launch from both platforms?
