Larian Studios Forums Divinity: Original Sin 2 Divinity - Original Sin 2 - Help/Tips/Tricks DefEd Crashes when trying to load any save in game

So the game will boot fine and the last save made loads fine. We can play from that point no problem and we can successfully create saves from that point. But if we want to load any saves, even the ones we just made while in the game, it immediately crashes. This was working less than 12 hours ago. Not sure what happened, but below are the last saves we have made. All other autosaves and quicksaves are deleted. Also, interestingly the game crashes when we choose "main menu". No mods installed.

We tried all the troubleshooting tips in forums.larian.com/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Number=562657 and it didn't help.

From what we can tell, the save files are fine. Just not sure why the game can't load them. Please help...
