I see her alignment is Neutral. Who's working on the BG3tweakpack?

15th level spellcaster with two attacks, seems legit enough.

If Larian will de-level her just to use her in some scenario with a lower level party I will be very annoyed. Like the 5th level "archdruids" or "first druids" we already have. Building a credible world and power hierarchy doesn't seem to be any consideration for them so far.

All current and future party members are de-leveled laugh
But they always have some convenient excuse.

Gale - Certain thing inside him
Shadowheart - Memory lost
Wyll - His patron is in trouble
Karlach - She lost her "devil buff"
Minsc - He is extremely powerful and has special ability that makes him virtually unkillable.
They will definitely have to weaken him dramatically.

They can always write convenient excuses for their own new characters to be de-leveled, but the legendary companions from BG1&2 with all their history are off-limits.

There are lots of named NPCs who have their levels and classes rejiggered between editions.

It's also believable to me that people can loose levels during retirement or becoming aged.
If you wanted to make a mechanic for it, it's like trading in your adventuring class levels for non-adventuring levels, a Rogue 5/Fighter 5 'Conan' exchanges his levels in Rogue to take a few levels of 'King' or whatever

Jaheira seems to me like someone who could investigate cursed lands.
Druids do try to protect the land and nature, and the Harpens are known for poking their noses into such things.
And the curse looks extremely strong, something like that could leave her temporarily weakened.

Absolutely believable explanation.

OR

She could only be a companion in the camp.
Maybe she could join a mission or two at the end of the game, when your level will be a little closer to hers.

Strange that Jaheira, even at that 'level' of experience, hasn't even found a basic suit of leather armor to wear.

At least her kneecaps are well protected, no chance of a raspberry there.

One of the best Druid offensive spells was Heat Metal ... is that in BG III?

I REALLY hope (and expect) she will not be a companion. Bad enough having Minsc as a possible companion. Recycling BG1/2 companions is, to me, yet another sign of how weak the BG3 writing team is.

Says common sense and any half-competent writing.

They're epic level characters. Not some low level companions or NPC's. To ret-con them into anything but is disrespecting the original games and ruining those characters in the process.

Yes, Heat Metal is in the game.

About that 'armor': It's awful, typical cliched boob Armor without any sense and protection, I like the datamined armor, she wears in the game, better and am currently using it for my characters, thanks to modders.

I know the armor exists, but I don't know what it looks like.

Awful in other ways than that. Druids can use metal armor/shields but it's taboo. So turning her armor a plate mail bikini is very wrong, not because it's cliché but because it's stupidly unimmersive besides lore unfriendly.
