When you first arrive on the beach and wake Shadowheart you can ask her where your gith friend went. This usually elicits the following response from Shadowheart:
"You might want to reconsider calling her a friend - looks like she ran off without us."
When I played a gith Tav this changed to:
"She must have run off without us...seems like I'm more reliable than your own people."
Ever since playing a gith Tav, regardless of what race I play (or profile I play under, as I use a separate profile for each of my characters) I get the "...your own people." response in the actual conversation but it shows up properly in the dialogue history later.
