Larian's independent; I don't see them jumping at the chance to be at the behest of a publisher again, not after the Divinity 2 fiasco. Of course that depends on ownership etc, which is a subject that makes my eyes glaze over even speaking as someone who worked in the City of London (or maybe
especially because of that) but AFAIK they're not at risk of a take-over, voluntary or otherwise.
As for Sony & Bungie, not really surprised. A bit more surprised that they haven't said "all your games are belong to PS5" but I guess we'll see how that pans out.
