I’ve tried adding poison to the vat of beer in the goblin camp to amusing effect. Do other potions work in their own way (ie potion of sleep puts goblins to sleep)?
I’m also wondering if the cauldron of stew in the druid grove can be tampered in a similar fashion. Has anyone tried it?

No, I tried potion of sleep and it doesn't work. Cauldron in the grove can be used for silvanus potions even after you've completed the quest. You can make some money out of mugworth this way.

Whats even worse, only one type of poison works. (There are 4 different 1d4 poisons in this game as far as i know ... //edit: Yup: 1, 2, 3, 4.) There is also second keg of beer you can poison later in game. I asked for other mixures sometime around Patch 2-3 ... seems like Larian didnt find my idea to be good enough. But i still think it would be cool: Beer + Sleep potion > Put whole goblin camp to sleep. Beer + Healing Potion / Antitoxin > Whole goblin camp will become sober, and pissed. Beer + Any resistance potion > Whole goblin camp would be resistant to that damage during Grove attack. (in my opinion clasic evil move, if you plan to turn against the Grove) Beer + Insanity's Kiss (potion from Auntie Ethel) > All goblins will become IMEDIATELY hostile to each other. >:]

Oh, I meant potions, sorry! Mugworth is a plant you can find in the wilderness, you can boil it in the cauldron to get elixir of silvanus which can cure you from poison (basically same as anti-toxin)

Ooh, looking forward to finding it (on BG3’s release). I asked for other mixures sometime around Patch 2-3 ... seems like Larian didnt find my idea to be good enough. The ideas you cite seem cool and not so much work. The pseudo cut-scene with the goblin’s toast to the absolute already exists, as do the potions’ effects. Oh, I meant potions, sorry! Is the recipe mugwort + water or is it enough to stick the plant alone in the cauldron?

Yes, would be great if all goblins drinking got the effect of whatever potion you put in the barrel! Though not sure the duration should be longer than normal so potentially only real long-lasting potions would be useful in the grove attack.

I think it is about different poison bottle models you can find in the game.

Is the recipe mugwort + water or is it enough to stick the plant alone in the cauldron? Just stick the plant into cauldron. That Link doesn't work. It is about the Wyvern posion or something different? Potion of poison, it gives 1d4, you can find it inside the apothecary celar Its odd item, since you can only drink it ... i didnt find any way to coat your weapons with it, unless its thrown and you then dip in that puddle.

Yes, it’s a fake healing potion and trap for the unwary as the default action is to drink rather than coat weapons. I confess I made that mistake once, and now just don’t pick it up! But if it does the same damage as a regular poison it would certainly make sense for it to work as a poison in the booze barrel.

Its Larian thing, they had the same in DOS2 and said they thought it'd be a good prank to give it to your friend...

Yeah, but I’m kinda sick of playing EA. I’ve played it more than some finished games I own and Patch 8 was a letdown. I’d rather stop until release to come in as fresh as possible for my full run. The forum’s still fun, though. Potion of poison, it gives 1d4, you can find it inside the apothecary celar Its odd item, since you can only drink it ... i didnt find any way to coat your weapons with it, unless its thrown and you then dip in that puddle. I fell in a heap like Peter Griffin when he gets kicked in the face. I figured those potions were made for throwing (which is why I don’t like using them).

I haven't tried it in recent builds, but the acid vials you can use as throwable weapons worked to poison the beer in earlier runs.
