I am happy to help .

You don't need the freeze skill to activate freeze on your weapon. Doesn't your sword freeze her? Or she casts blind before you aproach?
I'd reccomend you to take Flash Attack skill if you don't have it already, as soon as you enter, Pause and Flash Attack her. The attack. If you happen to be on the edge of death, just quaff a potion. Ignore the gagoyles arround her (if there are any). That's how I killed Jo (although I didn't use any potions, she stayed frozen for all this time ).

If you have place catrap skill (higher the better), place a bunch of scorpions around to distract her, then use your best weapon and wack away (best have bunchs of healing potions too). You may need to run away from her untill she returns from the spirit form, then attack again. Remember to save before you start fighting her so you can try different tactics.

I set of 11 scorpion traps (with the skill maxed out) and they killed her with out me having to lift a finger. Prior to this I tried everything in the spell book(I had 7 skills to learn). After many loads and reloades,i found the scorpion traps worked the best. I was playing on easy and my rep was about 42 with level 40 something, all resistances over 100 and strenght etc all in the 80 - 90 range.

Hope this helps.

I have a warrior/sorceress, about level 40 or so - all stats well above 100, great armor/sword/etc.

Josephine just keeps going invisible on me and sending the spikes at me - the others did too, but eventually they "got tired" and couldn't stay invisible anymore. But I just died after fighting her for like 15 minutes, during which time she wasn't solid long enough for me to get a hit in on her. I can summon 5 skeltons, the skeleton wall, and a demonic aide (all very high levels) but I don't think they do me much good - and they go invisible too.

I never bothered with the freeze skill, since it sounded like kind of a spoiler - besides, I'm not sure I could hit her anyway. So...what's the deal?

Drink a shadow potion and wait until her Blind spell wears off, then attack. Even when you are blinded, area effect spells which do not need a target will do damage (Hell Spikes, Elemental Hail, Deadly Disks...). If you drink a shadow potion and use the warrior's spin attack near (but not directly on) a creature, you will hit it without turning visible.
