As far as i know, this roach should not have Extra Attack ... and certainly not Extra Attack AND another Action ... as he had in first round.

I found another one!

Found the same in my run. When Larian said they had made some encounters more difficult, I think that’s what they meant.

I hope not, it doesn't seem right to me OO

I also hope this isnt the way ...
After all, levels should serve their purpose.

And BTW ... its not just goblins:

Ran into Fezzerk yesterday ... yup, Supergoblin
But died begging for his life nonetheless.
I was irritated by his band running off (even if this is RL), no loot

The others can only be looted if you kill him last. But yes that had also pissed me off a lot at the time, because I could only load a much older save game...

Half of Goblins in camp is attacking twice, and some npcs (no, i didnt note their names, i know i should have, but i didnt anyway) attacked even 3 times!
Wich ... as far as i know shouldnt be possible at all, without haste.

Unfortunately, I'm not there yet. So far, only Goblin Boss Za'krug at Druid Grove had a new passive, as far as I recognized - Primitive Frenzy: After an attack from the main hand, this Goblin can perform an additional attack. But the second attack is at disadvantage on the attack roll.

All Goblins had two attacks, they all are level 4 tho.

And Githyanki patrol still keeps behaving as if they all have two actions, bcs not only they attack twice ... they even sometimes cast spell instead one action, and then they add weapon attack on top of that!

I have no problem with hard games, but this simply isnt fair. :-/

Monsters in D&D can have multiattack before players would get Extra Attack (iirc monsters as low as CR 0.5 can have multiple attacks, and those are monsters that should be easy for even level 1 characters to deal with).

But Larian definitely has some early encounters where enemies are way too strong for "balanced" difficulty; I was trying to do the goblin camp at level three and there are multiple groups with 6+ enemies all with multiple attacks, magic and/or throwables, plus an elite leader with class levels. It forced me to a load of stealthy shoving and cheesing the AI which didn't feel terribly heroic. And you have to do that a lot later into the game as well because the action economy is almost always against you unless you use a lot of summons.

Someone didn't get the memo that goblins are enemies that can come in larger groups because individually they're super weak.

Mostly Druids in Animal forms ...

Funny that they didnt get it, but Goblins (who never had such feature to my knowledge) did.
Also, Githyanki being able to cast and attack at same turn, sounds simply straight forward broken to me. :-/

I remember Swen braging about how extremely dificiult their Tactical mode is, i believe he said something like "you will try it and you will die and you will be angry, but that is on you" ...
No, Swen, this is purely on you!
I know you like cheesing things, but if you need to give your party unfair advantages in order to make them threat, you failed as a Game Master. And its not even Tactical mode. -_-
