Just a quick update today: we are happy to announce that Mac users can now download and play Patch 9!

Game is not opening after updating.

I'm sure that this is a known issue, but, Patch #9 is crashing upon trying to open. TY! LOVE YOU LARIAN! <3

yes its a known issue... you may think releasing it months after Windows would mean they fixed issues but that would be silly

Outstanding! Now: what link / button on Steam do I click to get it to download? It's supposed to be set on automatic update, but that clearly isn't happening...

Indeed it would ... since its completely different system, that works quite different way.

Its like saying that if you can swim in water, it will be no problem to go swim in wet beton.
It will certainly be possible ... but quite soon you find out there are new problems you never encountered before.
(I strongly dont recomend trying that.)

Runs way better on a Mac than it does a PC. Not surprising, but interesting.

I have a 27" iMac with 10th gen i7proc 32GB Ram, 512 GB SSD, AMD Radeon pro 5500 XT.

We have just deployed a small fix that addresses this issue 👍

they are different but this case is just someone forgot to dot the i [again]
anyway its sorted now so moving on
