Hi guys,

The off-hand melee attack button is grayed out for me despite having a dagger equipped as my offhand weapon. Haven't been able to do an offhand melee attack for this entire playthrough

I was able to do this previously using a dual wield Astarion, so not sure why it's not working here. Anyone have any idea why?

Try taking the helmet off

Took it off, still grayed out. This helmet is light armor.

What did you take on level 4? Stats or dual wield feature? Without feature you cannot dual wield no-light rapier with light dagger. Both weapons need to be light. Ie short sword ans dagger or dagger and dagger.

Took martial proficiency. I swapped to a shortsword and dagger combo and it's still grayed out.

Took off all my gear, took off my ranged weapon - off hand attack still grayed out. It's kinda driving me nuts. Is this just a technical glitch?

It may well be, and if you haven’t already it may be worth sending your save to the Larian support team to see if they can help, or at least for them to confirm it’s a bug.

Out of interest, though, do you still get the same issue if you re-drag the off-hand attack action to the toolbar from your “spell book”? If you have an off hand weapon you can use equipped, I think the icon should appear in the “Common Actions” section of the second tab of your character sheet.

just to cover all the basics , try removing all weapons and replace with two normal daggers

Then Rapier + dagger is out of question. "Dual wielder" is the feat that allows this.

Maybe wielding rapier + dagger has bugged you out and now you can't off hand attack with anythin.
