I have the steam version on pc and I recently decided to get back in to the game it worked fine when I played it before but now I'm receiving an error message that tells me that I need .net core in order to play it and clicking "yes" does nothing.
I've tried validating the game files, manually installing both the 7.0 and 6.0 .net core downloads from microsoft, reinstall of the game, using the .net fixer nothing works I even tried installing the 3.5 framework but it said it was unneeded as a more recent version was already installed and downloading the 3.5 net in the technical issues and solutions but after it finished downloading nothing happens.
I'll check back in a few days so if I don't reply right away that's why
