Hello. I've had DOS2 on steam for years, with like 4-5 mods in it. I've never had any problems with the gamepad input at all, including with my current controller, the Xbox Core Wireless Controller. I haven't touched the game since maybe January, and it worked perfectly fine in the 10-12 mins I played.
I booted it up last night, and for some reason my y button is all messed up. If I'm with the gamepad at the main menu, neither the start or y buttons work. When I go into the game (Definitive Edition), start works, but y does not. I can't access the hotbar at all, and that's kind of game breaking. I've unchecked admin rights for the game, I've disabled steam input, disabled steam overlay, updated steam and my controller. Deleted the config files for DOS2 and let steam re-verify, and set the kbm controls to default, disabled all mods, etc.
That's about every solution I've seen, but I still can't get the y button to work in the game. This isn't an issue when I try the SupportTool exe in the defed folder, or if I run the normal EOCapp in the classic edition folder. I can't access my main game profile in those modes, but the y button works in them.
So, what could possibly be the issue here, considering I don't have any mods enabled, and its only affecting one exe for this game? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
