(Spoiler) I sneak attacked the brother and sister, killing them before we spoke. Astrian's dialoge still says the same thing. This is horrible for the story, how are my characters supposed to know something that didn't happen. They didn't over hear any conversation or talk to them, we just killed them.

well he is on the last legs so i assume the case is that he didn't notice [or perhaps care] that you just gutted his sister

Larian try to work out different permutations of what players will, and wont, do and still keep the story going.
