If you're planning to play split screen, get a refund before it's too late. If you haven't seen
this thread yet then know it's been unplayable in splitscreen for 3 weeks now even after char creation anyway.
It's probably better to buy it later if they ever fix it for ps5 because right now there is no communication from Larian and it doesn't look like they will anything about it. (Appart from the diehard larian fans that says that they will)
Unfortunately I have to agree with this. We regret getting the deluxe early access because its an otherwise brilliant story. But for us its being ruined by the unplayable state of play on ps5 split screen, which was what we bought it for. Only the most die-hard, forgiving and patient gamers will be happy to tolerate 5-40s of 0fps freeze lag when you perform a myriad of basic functions with two people doing them simultenously. It is possible to push through that, we did for 50h, but in hindsight its felt like nothing but frustration.
Add in that the targeting bugs regularly (you lose the ability to target actions) and that this requires a quicksave and 'quick'load which seems to take the better part of a minute, you will spend a lot of time frozen and reloading.
