To show I'm not completely without compassion to others. Or that I'm a complete ****! I found an official workaround for PS5 players.
This article is recommended by Larian Studios, the ones that you know make the game LOL!
They suggest you disconnect from the Internet until they're able to patch it. Which honestly will be very quick because the "Larian Studios Network" runs 24/7/365 days a year. It won't solve the "split screen issue " but it should help with connecting. And for those that already know this, you don't have to be connected to the Internet to play BG3.
