I've been waiting for mods to be available on console and I'm really excited that it is finally possible. I've already done 2 separate playthroughs and one was Tactician so I've already got hundreds of hours into the game.

I wanted to do Honor Mode for my 3rd playthrough but was waiting for mods to try and spice it up by potentially using some of the other 5E subclass mods and maybe other QoL tweaks. Now that they are here, even though it is limited even more so than what is listed officially, I just want to know if using the mods would somehow disable earning the Honor Mode trophy? I did not see any particular warning about using them when I went to test them out.

I would REALLY hate to spend likely over a hundred hours again on my 3rd playthrough and suffer through Honor Mode only to find out at the end that the trophy doesn't pop. I'll be really disappointed if it does disable them since it ruins the reason for using some of them on a 3rd playthrough considering I've already spent so much time on the game I wasn't exactly looking to do another vanilla 3rd playthrough.

Considering they just released I guess only the developers would be able to answer this question since it wouldn't be possible for anyone to have already finished the whole game using mods on PS5 yet.

Achievements and trophies are automatically disabled when you’re using mods, so keep this in mind if you’re still planning on completing your Baldur’s Gate 3 achievements!

This is save-specific, and removing the mods from that save will not re-enable achievements.

What does it mean in practical terms?

If I download mods and try them out on a new save, will that affect my old saves if I haven't opened them with mods? Will I need to spend another 60 hours romancing Karlach?

How do u re enable trophies on ps5? Can u just start another save without mods enabled and get tropies that way? I wanna use mods but dont want it to interfere with my main save. How do i do this?

My best guess is yes, a new modless save would have the achievements triggered.

If you do anything with mods and then make a save, only that save is affected, and the previous saves are untouched.

A new save without mods will have trophies enabled.

Thank you for the heads up. A little disappointing to hear but I appreciate it. I guess I have to hold off on mods until a 4th playthrough.
