I don't know if there's already a thread about this topic in the forum, if so I ask that this one be closed.
Like I wrote in the title, I would like if in the tattoo section there are some for the body.
I've always found this lack in the TAV's creation a bit strange, given that there are characters with body tattoos in the game.
It's true that there are mods that allow you to have body tattoos but ,unfortunately, most of them replace the existing tattoos in the game and you can't install more than one tattoo mod at a time.
So I would like to ask to Larian if they can create and insert in the TAV creation, some body tattoos.

Yes! I agree with this. Why do all tattoos end at the neckline? We have many opportunities to see our Tavs bodies.

I *think* the reason for this is that the textures for the head are separate from the textures for the body. Doesn't mean they couldn't have added body tattoos, just an explanation for why the current ones work like that. I know this isn't an ideal solution, but body tattoo mods exist as well, if that's something that could help!

We do have modded options for body tattoos if you ae using Nexus, but adding them to the CC requires extra leg work to the UI, which isn't easy.
As for Mod.IO and the Official Toolkit, people are still learning how to use it, so who knows, it most likely won't be an option for console users, but
maybe for PC. AFAIK, there wasn't any talks about adding body tattoo CC options, but again, people can hope. ( I'm people.)

With the MMM Mod and unique Tav, 3 (if you still use the alpha channel 4) tattoos should be possible at the same time, which can be individually colored, I mean also in metallic colors. Textures in BG3 work over the RGB + A channels and each can be assigned separate information. I use my own skin textures but I think some mods say "MMM compatible". This also allows different tattoos on different characters and I also think that it doesn't change anything in multiplayer. But yes, these tattoos have to be on one template, but then they could also be switched on/off and whether you like the tattoos is the next question. smile

I know about this, I did it but, from your own description, we can see that the way to install tattoos at the moment, via mods, is quite tedious.
And there are also other inconveniences:
as far as I know, these mods do not allow you to add tattoos, but they replace those already present in the game, which means that they also replace those already on some NPCs.
I am also currently using mods to have body tattoos, but (another problem), often these tattoos only work with the addition of the Unique TAV mod, but not all face mods are compatible with UTAV.
So, in short, it's a bit of a mess!

For this reason, through this thread, I would like to ask Larian if they could implement a section dedicated to body tattoos, so as to make it easier for everyone (so even for those who play on consoles), to have this possibility.
I know it's a little late to make such a request, but I'll try anyway.

As you say, it's a mess because Tav is unfortunately not unique and you have to take this detour via unique Tav in order to change things on Tav without changing the NPCs. That makes everything so complicated.

But I support your request, I would also prefer to be able to change it directly without having to use unique Tav.

More tattoos would be awesome! There's only a few that I really like/use and when you have as many characters as I do, it gets frustrating having them all have the same tattoos haha
