I am new to the forums and I'm lurking mainly. I've noticed the majority of this category are complaints. Which are valid and should be communicated.
But I think my experience with the local co-op multiplayer is also valid.
My wife and I played local co-op on the PS5 Slim. And we didn't experience more or less bugs/issues as on our solo playthroughs (PC, PS5 and Steamdeck).
The dream visitor was the main "bug" we had, but we just picked the same answers and made sure we pressed at the same time, so the voice-over would be synchronized with both dream visitors. Teamwork makes the dream work
Quite literally in this case.
Overall, this was a good experience. Even when we used mods, we had no crashes or other disruptive bugs. Not that I can remember anyway (I slept since Monday haha).
I am super happy the game allowed local co-op because it was a very nice and cosy 3 months. Coming home from work and curling up with a soft blanket, wine and a snack, to play BG3 with the person I love, was an incredible experience. And we plan on repeating the journey soon but in tactician mode.
I recommend giving it a try if you haven't already!
