Hey there, I'm currently working on the Noble background, grabbing all of the inspirations, but I'm struggling with Noblesse Oblige. Every site I check simply says:

* Dismiss a companion for interrupting a conversation.
* Ignore the pleas or requests of a companion in dialogue.

I'm a bit confused about this, though. I've cut Lae'zel off when talking to the Gith but nothing happened. I've also refused to help Gale with his problem, still nothing. Is there something specific I need to do here? Any help is appreciated!

I almost forgot to note: I did see someone mention talking to Zorru in the grove but I didn't see that until after finishing act 1, so that's not possible for me... is that the only way?

Supposedly, the inspiration is attainable in all 3 acts.

I personally only know of the trigger from Zorru in the Grove.

Though, I can think of a few examples where it might be possible to obtain it during act 2 (Spoilers);

- When heading towards the Temple of Shar with Astarion in the party. He will want to ask Raphael about his scars. You can make comments against that.
- In the Temple of Shar, Shadowheart will ask to be the one to pay the offerings for the trials. You can deny that request.
- Heading towards Moonrise Towers and encountering Mizora will prompt Wyll to make comments. You can dismiss his concerns.
- Meeting with Mol at Last Light will cause Karlach to express concerns about her. You can be dismissive of her concerns.

Again, I'm not sure if any of those will trigger the inspiration. But they're worth a shot. The general idea behind the inspiration is to try and dismiss concerns raised by a companion during a dialogue.

Ooo those are great suggestions, thank you! I'll give those a try and see how they go c:
