I just want to know everything. What's it all about?

I feel like this is the new BG3 Subclass I didn't know I needed, but totally do! hehe

You conjure some kind of shadow hound. Think of it like the Grim from Harry Potter - that is basically a Hound of ill omen. I haven't played a shadow sorc in DnD yet, so don't know, how powerful they are, but I guess, they are not bad.

It does sound a fun class, but I'll admit the dog model doesn't really give me the sort of Black Dog of folklore vibe I'd expect, and looks a bit like Scratch has gone for a swim in an oily pool. I'd have been tempted to use something more like the Shadow Mastiff model myself.

But still looking forward to hearing more about the subclass, and starting to ponder a character concept for it and the other new subclasses announced.

Well, if we're taking requests, then I picture mine as a grim long dog, like a lanky sighthound doing the storm-shadow zoomies!

Basically that one dude from Ninja Scroll, but the hound dog version...

Maybe with a dash of ancient Mumm-Ra vibes thrown in for good measure!

It's cool to see a Durge-y Sorcerer with a best friend for that, since the class is a bit light on summons. I don't see how they could go wrong with more dogs honestly. Always a good call hehe

Ps. It comes at lvl 6 right, like the other sorcerer perks? Uses sorcerery points to summon? If so a S'Warlock with a blast and a Shadowdog could be fun. I wonder how strange the brew will get? It's got more of a Summons style feel to it from the little clip, than like a Phantasmal Killer sort of thing going on, like where we can have it hang around and warp along with the crew. That'd be cool

I kind of like that it looks like a dark Scratch. Intimidating, but pettable at the same time.
