This is yust GREAT!
I recently downloaded the demo at www.spelletjesgarnaal.be (Dutch) (you can also from www.gamer.nl and I'm sure you'll find other multilangual sites) - 157 MB - and the game yust rocks!

You should try this one also definitly! Too bad it's very difficult for a mage to survive alone... And it's quite dark. But that doesn't matter that much. I completed it as a fighter with some natural magic to heal me.

Yeah, I saw the demo earlier today too, didn't get it yet though, maybe later, or maybe not heh.

Lionheart is actually one of those games I'm not looking forward to. Probably the aftershock of NWN. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/tongue.gif" alt="" /> Though maybe some day I'll try it and it could pleasantly surprise me then. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

One thing I hate about the demo: you can't run! What the hell? Everyone RUNS! As a fighter, I step up to the fight at ease, when I reach my enemy I'm half-dead... Really sucks!!

Graphics, music & speech = great!
Spells, skills & feats also.
Rangers suck - enemies see you before you see them.
Mages suck - they die in one or two hits and if you play alone no-one can "tank" them. Also, mana recovery sucks, no rest ability...

Sigh.

Are you SURE there are no hotkeys like SHIFT, CTRL or ALT which allow you to run?
As for mages: well, they're mages you know? Elderly men with long robes and weak body? I mean you're not supposed to go in melee.

Same here. Although NWN was made by Bioware and Lionheart is a BlackIsle's child. Or you mean that the last game you tried was NWN so you don't want to try others?

Well, my mage in DD is pretty powerful...she kicks some butt!

damn, I can't use gamespy, and almost 50% of the demos out there these days are only on gamespy, so when Bean had that Gamers Hell thing, I got like 3 demos and a movie now donwloading! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/ohh.gif" alt="" />

I don't think there are any hotkeys, I tested them all out.
The point of the weak mages is you cannot run and enemies see you before you see them and they CAN run! So they'll chase you so easy... You can't escape. OneVSOne fights aren't that difficult, but if there's another guy or beast attacking you and you are trying to cast a spell you're dead...

Remember IWD, IWD2, BG and BG2? They all didn't have running in it. The only ones who could run where your enemies. Unless you had boots of speed, which were often found in BG2, but still.

PST, Fallout and Fallout2 do show that running is possible for players too. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/winkwink.gif" alt="" />

Well, looking around on thier forum...
It seems a lot of people are very disappointed with it. It sounds to be a bad game...too bad, it had a nice idea.

But still, I have the feeling I "need" the run ability. Somehow Lionheart (at least the demo) reminds me of Diablo II... Don't really know why.

Wow - the developers don't even seem to care about their fans, which are the major amount of people who would be buying this game.
And, if there are people suggesting a patch so soon after the release (or with it) that is saying a lot. I think 80% of thier hard core fans are upset with this game...

I say again, really too bad.

Thank you to Larian for listening to people's views...and doing what they can. It would be very disappionting to hear them say "if you don't like the demo, then this game probably isen't for you" Wow - talk about customer service huh????
