Larian Studios Forums Divine Divinity (English) General weapons...one handed or two?

where can i find out in the game if weapons are one handed or two prior to buying them and then seeing if they are? also can anyone reccommend a good site that gives good info specifically about all the weapons in the game?

all the weapons are, beleave it or not, random drops, and the stats are random too! strange isn't it, so no site about all the weapons. Mostly a 2 hander is a staff or halber or a big sword, the biggest swords are the great swords and the big [nocando] swor,d, the royal sword and the sword of cahos you find are also 2 handers, can't think of others righrt now.

You could catalogue all the weapon types though (Short Sword, Long Sword, Great Sword, etc.) and also include the unique items (Royal Sword, Slasher, etc.). You woulnd't be able to provide their special abilities, but their Damage, Recuperation Time and Requirements remain constant (before bonuses).

I don't know of such a list, though.

That's not particularly helpful. I've bought many weapons only to find out they're two-handed. Without detailed knowledge, you can't know if they're one- or two-handed. And weapons with special names hide what they are based on so you have no idea then.

from what i recall only Batsturd swords are the one handers of choice, other than that ......zippo! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggrin.gif" alt="" />

you can normally tell by the size of the sword in your inventory...logic
