JustRPG: What are you doing in Riftrunner that you were not able to do in Divine Divinity?
Lar: There were a lot of things we weren’t happy about in Divinity and having the chance to rectify them is pretty cool. Divinity 1 originally had party members in it and we had to kick those because we were running behind schedule. Now we’ve been able to put them back in. This time around we also have the chance to spend more time on the actual gameplay rather than the zillions of features which were necessary to get the engine running – that makes a big difference.
