I think the skill system is better in DD, and a lot of the sub quests are far more interesting. But BD has a better overall storyline and I prefer having two characters to one - though a full on party would be better still <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />
4-6 characters would really get best use out of the BD skill system, IMO. With only two it's too large to be worthwhile.
DD really suffered from an incredibly boring end section though (The entirety of the Wastelands), which is definitely not the case in BD.
Overall, I enjoyed both games tremendously - but they have somewhat different strengths and weaknesses.
