OK for all of you that have this error ,, i had it too ,, i may have found a solution ,,, i also got the loading screen and when i finally got bored of waiting i accidentally hit a key .. dunno which one was but suddenly !! omg :O the game continued and now the loading screen always works !!
try the middle ones , ( letters , space bar ,, try all that it may work !! worked for me ,, im using win 7 x64 ) hope u get as lucky as me ,, im playing with 1440 x 900 high settings and working fine.
