My DKS on Xbox (Europe version) has only a 4 MB store on the HDD !
Like Trippy said: probably most of the game plays directly from the disk.
But I always install all my Xbox games on my HDD before I even start playing the game.

Also
Once you install it to the Hard Drive, it will play it off their not off the Disc, it only needs the disc to verify you have a Legit Copy.
