so.. GOG:
gives nice installer files, easy to burn to dvd but... updates happen so it is somewhat early still to do it.

Steam:
used ONLY for downloading the game, nothing else. I don't have steam version myself but as far as i've heard and read about it here, it is pretty much "copy it anywhere and it'll work"

that said, GOG is pretty much better choice for DVD making due to included installer and all.
