This is not a bug at all. This quest line has changed so much, you no longer get quests "Lost Archeologist, Scardy Pact, Legionaires at the Church" from Aureus. You get them from "Lieutenant Selenia" in the military camp by the gate doors. Quest lines have certainly changed, I'll have to be more alert. :P
