My wife and I took a few days off of work this week. We put in requests for these days a month ago to ensure we had it off.
The plan was to spend the days together playing. I ordered the CE to support a great developer team, and to use that steam key for my wife. Here we are a week after release my tracking number hasn't updated, it still says processing in Germany. No expected ETA, nothing. We have the snacks, the beers, the time, and I talked the game up to my wife who was super excited but this morning when she found out I still didn't have they key for her to play she was so sad. As of now she has started a solo game on my account but she doesn't want to play by herself.
Im sad I promised a couple of days of laughs, crying (she cries.. a lot over sad plots), triumph, and pure wtf moments. And I can't deliver on that promise because my steam key is sitting halfway across the planet in some warehouse... gathering dust.
Damn.
