yeah, you are right. I remember now. I just found it a bit extreme when I killed a halfling and the diameter of the blood pool was roughly 3 times his height. Unless he was smuggling blood bags under his vest, then it seems reasonable
If they want to get a bit crazy (I am fine with that) they could leave the pool size, but add some more blood to the character model. It is a bit weird when the corpse is nearly clean even though he lost 10 liters of blood.
