When talking about this I always think of America's funniest home videos, where you see a thousand guys slipping hilariously on ice. Then you recall how you also did fall that one time, so you think: "Wow, that really does happen to everybody!" yet you are deliberately omitting all the times everyone in the country including yourself obviously did not fall flat on his buttocks.
