You can do that in BG3 too, although you have designate the items as junk yourself first, so it's still not tedium-less.
Yeah I was aware of that. DOS felt like it was mocking you, many item descriptions saying this is good for nothing other than selling… well how about it being marked as wares automatically then? Nope.
