No, Larian does owe us something for purchasing a prototype game at full price with which to fund the development of the game. And also for putting our time, effort and our personal computer recources at their disposal. In exchange we get a game that regularly hangs or sometimes crashes and has many other glitches. Thanks to these thousands of paying but enthusiastic play-testers, Larian will be able to produce a (hopefully) wonderful game in a reasonable time. So, in exchange, I think that Larian could for instance release some more frequent patches that correct a number of the hangs and crashes that are reported.
