Well ... basicaly, maybe ... But for Evil being (like Fiend for example) "choose" to be Good from now on, is something like for us to "decide to go on a hunger strike" ... It might seem easy at first, but with every next hour it becomes harder and harder ... and eventualy it either breaks your will, or irreversibly damage the body.
