- I have not found any way to rotate the camera angle so far not that it has stopped me from playing the game.

No, you can’t rotate the map - it is done more or less the way Infinity games were with pre-rendered 2d background with skewed perspective. I personally prefer that, as I don’t have to fight the camera, I see everything that I need to see and it’s easier to navigate.
