Does playing on an old version save game cause arrows from the old version not to stack with the new version? Because my mage has like 5554 arrows or something, and 300 arrows that won't stack. This is on a 1.44 savegame played on 1.45.

my guess is yes, that's the case. i have double piles of all the arrow types now. i think fixing the arrow cost fixed the old/new stacking too! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggrin.gif" alt="" />
thankfully though, the fix also got rid of the real expensive arrows multiplying.

I started my 4th game under version 1.45 a few days ago (no version 1.44 saves). There is some problem with arrows that will not stack, and I don't know what it is yet.


If you pickpocket some merchants you will see like one stack of like 1100 Poison arrows, and another stack of 40 Poison arrows on the same merchant. No big deal though, I just sell the arrows that will not stack.

I also have the same , only played game with 1.45 patch. I have seperate stacks of 6,11,33,41 spiritual arrows, other arrows are also affected. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" />

Also for some reason i find i can't use normal arrows which is allocated to number 1, when I fire i get the message 'no arrows', but if i allocate them to key 2 or 3 they work!!

This happened on 1.44 as well... A getaround for that is to just unequip all arrows you have, then equip the ones you want to use.

I found that the arrow stacking is totally random. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. And it's not the size of the stack that matters. I have a stack of 1100 splitting arrows, but I can't even stack 50+30 ethereal arrows.

trying to find a bug report i saw this thread; some of the arrow stacks have weight 13, some have weight 12. Most are 13. The two different weights will not stack with each other, so just ditch the 12s, it's not like arrows are scarce anyway.

i can't even imagine why the BF merchants sell arrows.. i've got thousands of arrows !!!
