Well i have to say I think till patch 2 I had no doubt.

I still like this game but it need some fixes. And some new features to remain to be ethernal.

We I think they deserved it just they should not deliver the last two big patches.

As for Astarion, I'll be sure to kick him in the nuts again for stealing the award from Amelia Tyler. Though Neil did an amazing job as always, he was great in Resident Evil 3 as Nikolay too

After collecting his awards, Swen immediately went to this nearest pawn shop, sold all the trophies, had his lead writer distract the shopkeep while he attempted to pick pocket the trophies back, rolled a nat 1, and entered combat. Will update this story as details emerge.

Lucky that there was an autosave right after the trophee reception.

Well that's certainly glorious! I know people are going to have thoughts now, but shit, still just tryint to take stock of how nuts it is that Baldur's Gate returned from the dead after 20 years to such acclaim! A veritable sweep? Didn't expect to wake up to that news. It makes my Baldur's Gate beating heart beat happy lol

Congrats Larian! Well deserved imho! Despite all my criticisms of the game/story I still think it's well deserved, and honestly, I wouldn't complain so much if I didn't already love this damn game so much! Close to 2k hours spent according to steam! Had 600h already in EA (when I decided to stop playing and wait for release)!

Also, so damn happy Neil Newbon won, before BG3 I had no clue who that man even was and cause of BG3 and his stellar performance I am a fan!

Honestly, I thought that that award show was gonna be rigged and Bethesda/Starfield would sweep everything, imagine my shock! And my husband's shock cause he thought that Diablo 4 and Blizzard would win some! Glad to be wrong!

Congrats. Of course, the "easy" thing is climbing to the top (at which there was barely any competition, thanks to the wide-spread industry practice of "streamlining", and major companies not releasing a game directly competing in years).

The harder part is staying there -- and resisting the Dark Si... Urge whilst doing so.

Some of those are pretty well deserved, but others are a bit questionable IMHO. Certainly wouldn't give it best storytelling...I'm reminded that these awards are more popularity contests than anything.
