I've been playing these games for a little over two years now, started with the first and absolutely love them. Probably too much! 😅

Anyway I've taken my role-playing in divinity 2 up a notch this week.

Anyone tried to destroy the band of Braccus?

Items that characters can equip do not take damage. As such, while your idea is interesting, there is no side quest to Modor in DOS:2. So, while I haven't tried it, I am 99.99% certain it can't be done.
Try this. Put a shield down on the ground and then cast Fireball on it. It doesn't burn. The same will happen with the ring.
