Hello!
I want to make this thread for all members of the community to report bugs, leave feedback and suggestions wrapped up in a nice neat little package for all the wonderful folks at Larian

First, I want to express how much fun I had in Baldur's Gate 3. Finishing the build with a measly 12 hours of play under my belt makes my giddy with anticipation for the full launch. With the flattery out of the way, I understand that many aspects of the game are unfinished and unpolished, but nonetheless, I will put things into this forum as I see them. I am not a game developer and I am not educated when it comes to video game terms (I hope you'll bare with me) but I love what I've played so far and can't wait to see what's to come.

- Many dialogue cutscenes often have characters hunched over instead of standing upright
- Characters are very expressive with their hands in dialogue, however, their hands are often not animated and remain flat
- Gnolls do not have a climb animations and hover up ladders and terrain for example
- Characters will often bug out in combat and can not attack or use spells
- Sometimes "can't reach" will appear when my character can clearly get to where I'm trying to get to. Waukeen's Rest, for example, if you walk to the building left of the fountain you can not walk through the door that is clearly open and not on fire.
- After freeing Halsin in the shattered sanctum, Dror Ragzlin pushing attacked Halsin into the spider pit just outside where Dror can be found. The spiders do not attack or join the fight. I found sometime later that the spiders are waiting for a dialogue trigger to occur after you open the gate into their pen.
- No animation or effect when wild shaping into a bear or turning invisible
-Some minor spelling errors I saw "coudl" instead or could at some point

- I would like a "sort" button for my inventory (may have missed this feature)
- I would like a "hide helmet" button (may have missed this feature)

Suppose you could add scrolls to the list, you're able to currently scribe any scroll to wizards.

Bugs:

When "listening in" on other's dialogue, often I get a warped twisted picture or am half in someone's head or some feature. About half the time it corrects itself.
When "rolling dice" I would say that there appears to be a trend for certain results to NOT happen (Teela I'm looking at you).
Often I will get the flag that my partner is in a dialogue menu when this is not the case. Sometimes it messes with our ability to save the game.

Bugs:

- Layered clothing will clip through the main chest piece. If you have gloves on the shirt underneath will clip through the gloves
- Astarion's hair will clip through the helmet that you can find in the underdark that gives the player invisibility. (Not sure if this is with all helmets and all characters)
- Upon First meeting Raphael his eyes will clip through his eyelids when blinking

Bugs:

- Pressed the button "end day and go to camp" and now I (and more people) are stuck there. GAME BREAKING BUG! talked to all NPC's, nothing to do, but we cannot interact (or use) the bedrolls or campfire meaning we are stuck there until there is a fix for this. Cannot get out, cannot do anything. And obviously, auto save didnt work properly so the only "save game" previous is like 5 hours back...

I've already started compiling a list in a pinned topic which can be added to. However, that is for gameplay feedback only, I haven't yet done one for bugs.

Feel free to add to it, but before doing so please check it isn't already listed if you wouldn't mind: there's a lot of stuff for me to check through.

First of all: I loved BG2. I grew up with it, it was my first PC game. Even though I grew up with it i never knew what the dices meant. So I am not good in D&D.
I only played through once, so I will come back for more feedback.

Bugs:
-When fighting on multipe lvl sometimes one level does not have a floor anymore. For instance the part with the spiders wher eyou can get kicked in as mentioned above. If you are down there and try to look at another level and look for a way out, on the other floors npc and ppl are standing on air.
- I tried to save while someone in my party said something (not a dialog but a perception thingie) since then I can not save anymore, it always sais: saving in dialouge is not available at the moment we are developing it (or someting like that): No matter what I do i could never save again.
- when killing an npc with smash or something like that (something that has an animation), the animation is "wild": the npc gets thin and larger and flies around the sceen. sometime setteling and sometimes bugging into the floor so you can not loot him.

- Once character talks about the Priestess you encounter ( teh second character you get) and they talk about her black eyes, but she does not have black eyes... Bug or wanted?

strange things:
- the camera stops moving once i move away (too far?) from a character. I wanted to look at the other side of the map if there was the thing i wanted to get to (I already had no fog of war) but i could not get there. In my opinion you should be able to hover around everywhere not just in a radius around your character. (once you hover too far it just wont go thurder)

Feedback:
- I think this game could be great.
- The big story so far is enticing.
- Having only 4 ppl in a group and no "tank" in the beginning feels wrong. maybe it will get better as the game goes on?
- For a party I would wish more depth to the characters. they all seem like they dont want to talk to you and you somehow do not get to know them
- I felt lost the whole time to be honest. you are thrown into a fight all the time and maybe its because I do not know D&D so mutch but the party member you meet on the ship is some race I do not know and it is never explained what she is.
- While in a conversation the face of the main character sometimes react differently than you think they would. (you say you like it and they look angry or confused)
- in a conversation your party has no say in it. They just stand there watching, having blank faces.
- I never seem to know whitch stats help with what dice.
- Character creation is beautiful, I like most of the hair whitch normally I never do.
- still, I would like to have more information on what happens if I choose this instead of that. (maybe you have to know more about D&D to know these things??)
- Character lvl up: its nice that some things are alredy chosen.

What I miss:
-someone like Minsk. the first 2 characters you meet want to kill you. the whole party feels as if they do not want you or need you. Since this is a D&D you should all work together. Shure sometimes there are mates who will not fit in with you because of alliance (good/evil) but these characters I encounter, only 1 seems nice. 1 has issues with his hate, 2 want to kill you and 1 is just nasty.
- even though you have lots of options in the dialog somehow none seem to be what I would say. For instance the companion xx the blade or sword (the one with 1 white eye) he rants about hate and goes on about killing goblins and once he is finished all you can do is say: yes, we kill them; yes i love your hate; haha you lost your eye ; or you can leave. I would see more options here like: we have to first get rid of the thing inside us, or: stop your hate but you are right we will kill them or: no i will not kill them.
- I would like to have a "chat" where I can re read what just happend. For instance I say something and the screen tells me: xy approves or dissaproves. Sometimes I do not even see the information because its gone too fast. Also while running if my party talks I sometimes do not hear it since I am off searching the map, this way I miss dialogs. If I yould reread them I would not miss them, or if I see that they are starting to talk I would just turn back and hear them.

Ok I guess thats it for now, keep up the good work, I am looking forward to it!
