If one had true wisdom, would we be online looking for it in a thread on one liners?

"The belief in a special destiny is one of the most rampant and harmful delusions on earth"
"There is one purpose to life and one only: to bear witness and to understand as much as possible of the complexity of the world - Its beauty, its mysteries, its riddles. You wake up in the morning, get something for the pot Wonder why the sun makes the rocks feel hot Draw on the walls, eat, sleep, get laid Back in the good old days
Then some damn fool invents the wheel Listen to the white walls squeal You spend all day looking for a parking spot Nothing for the heart, nothing for the pot.

Hmm! Interesting review ,though he obviously doesnt like Anne Rice much. This is the only book of hers Ive read so I cant really comment on how similair it is to her other stuff. But it doesnt take a genius to see the similarities between an undead servant spilling his guts to a writer, and a vampire doing the same thing to a reporter. Still her style is pretty good and if the other books a similair I might read them. Maybe <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />
What the heck is a filantroop?
