Lewis was a tall young man, of 25 years, he had blue eyes, and blondish hair. He normaly worked alone on his operations, but for today, he was working with old Jon Tomshon, he had taken care of Lewis from the fateful stormyday 8 years ago. The memories still haunted him...

His mother smiled at him, "no darling, you are to sick to come with us," she said and brushed his cheek with her hand, his tears now passed to her hand. "But I want to come!" he begged his mother. She put up her soft almost velvet like hand to stop him, no son, you're to sick, stay with our neighbor Tomhon's." He hadn't like it, but with tears still fresh in his eyes, he watched them get on there fishing boat, his mother, his father, his brother, and the two hired helps. They needed to have fish. He went backinside, shying from the wind and rain. Lightning, yellow and white; even red, struck out at the sea, he saw one bolt go 10 feet away from his family boat. Then, one after another, bolts struck around the boat; then, one hit the massive forcastle, almost 4 stories tall and it fell. Lewis watched as it hill the deck. Then the boat stopped. Lewis pulled on a extra cloack, suddenly it was freezing. For once he wish he did not have his eye sight. He saw his father looking over the boat to see what had stopped them, when a wave hit from behind. He saw his father fall off the boat, saw his mother trying to get his brother in a boat, saw the hired men crushed by rolling timbers. saw his mother flung from the boat like a rag, the memories were indeed fresh...

Well, now he, and his 56 year old partner were going in on there biggest adventure yet. He was, a thief. He had been since he was 18, he supposed the 10% Impish blood in him was part of that. Who knew for sure. He had robbed rich and poor, and was quite rich now, and now he went on his biggest deed yet. To rob the castle of Aganeth, the troll wizzard.

As Lewis and Jon stepped into the castle; via a small horse gate by a huge cliff, they put hands to their noses, the smell was very destinctive; orcs. Lewis edged out his compostie bow and put an arrow to the string, Jon got out his old sword and buckler. They started by going down a passage to the left, it was very dusty and there were only a few footprints, they were shaped like an orcs feet. Lewis looked to the left and right every now and then, looking at the huge tapastries, some of them showed huge mosterous castles, or treasure rooms full of gold and jewels, yet others of cold hearted kings and queens, those were the ones he looked at. The others consisted of showing so and so being tortered by the kings and queens, Lewis didn't look at those. Soon, they arrived at a heavy, wooden door, with a black bar across it. A loud growl from behind, and Lewis and Jon twisted, the first orc fell to an arrow, by the time Jon moed forward to tab and orc, two more had fallen. Then three got around Jon and went for Lewis, and that moment, Lewis dropped his bow, and his hands twirlled, two of the orcs fell. His hands twirled again and again. And more and More orcs fell, until they were surrounded by 20 orc bodies. Lewis went around colleting his knives, and then proceeded to pick the lock. It was an old lock, and his lockpck slid easily into it, and he turned; he heard the chinks of the lockpick move, heard the screws in the lock move, and he opened the door...

Lewis walked into the room. In it were 5 tables, he saw many jewels and gold items, but his eyes went to the bowl of emeralds, rubies, amber, and saphires first. He get get those out of the tower easily, and they would catch a fair price. He walked forward, his black cloak swirling behind him. He paused as he got closer to the bowl.
"No guards, besides those two,, hmm. And probably several stolen items, and jewels, and gold in here to equal 5 million pounds of gold. Somethings wrong." he said outloud to himself. Well, he'd betetr get going if he was to get away beofre morning. He put his hands out to scoop the jewels into his hands, and his hands met air. He turned to face 30 orc warriors and Aganeth. Lewis froze. Then he noticed all of the jewels were not there, instead, he was in a cage. Fear grasped his heart and for the first time he drew back in fear. Aganeth smiled.
"Hand me the irons," he said and a orcs handed him two red hot branding irons. Aganeth moved forward. With a smile on his face brighter then the irons. "I hope I do not have to use these, perhaps we can come to some agrement," he said and handed a parchment to Lewis, and Lewis read, his heart beat regularly and a smile krept to his face also...

I just had written those 3 already before I was told the bad news, well, just read them. I would have used them as the 5 try out posts, but I was never told officially I could do them. well, there they are.
