If you put traditional anti-vampire items in Astarion's inventory he should make comments about it (no harmful effects since the "rules have changed")
Like if you put holy water, wooden stakes, garlic etc in his inventory he'd do a "That's not funny" or "Are you trying to get rid of me?" etc cheeky comments.
